For the adventurous diner, don’t miss the unique Black Pepper Tuna that offers a delightful twist on traditional offerings.

If sushi isn’t your preference, Bambooya’s noodles are equally enticing. The Seafood Garlic Udon, a thick noodle dish brimming with scallops, shrimp, and salmon enveloped in a creamy garlic sauce, is worth every bit of its $23.33 price tag. Meanwhile, customer favorites like the hearty Ramen ($20.73) and Shrimp Tempura Udon ($23.33) promise to satisfy any noodle lover’s cravings.

Vegetable appetizers also shine, with the Spicy Edamame receiving rave reviews for its bold flavors, and the Vegetable Tempura presenting a delightful crunch alongside vibrant, fresh veggies for $11.63. Patrons rave about dishes like the Sweet Potato ($9.03) and traditional Scallion Pancake ($9.03), perfect for sharing or as a delicious starter.

Customers like Ivana Babic extol the freshness of the food, noting the exceptional service provided by staff like Mike, who offer expert recommendations to help you navigate the vast menu. Ellen Yi shared her love for the sushi boat for two, praising its stunning presentation and freshness of the sashimi. Meanwhile, Alexandre Gagnard hailed Bambooya as the best Japanese spot in NYC, particularly for the delicious lunch bento box that left him eager for a return visit.

Delicious food, awesome service! Plenty of street parking and right next to train station. Reasonably priced, well worth the money. Took 1 star off regarding atmosphere because there was a bit of a smell when you first walk in and because there was only 1 bathroom which made for long lines at busy times. But we really loved the food and people, it was great!

Best Japanese restaurant I've been to in New-York! Loved the lunch bento box (salmon teriyaki), and the Moscow sushi rolls. Amazing food and service! I will definitely be back

Customer service was amazing. They kept refilling my tea which I really appreciated since I've been to restaurants that don't even come by unless I call them over! Had a quick Saturday lunch and got a sushi boat for two. Absolutely loved the presentation, sashimi was fresh, and seating was unique. The nigiris and rolls were just okay. When you go in, there are a few booths that are Japanese style where you take your shoes off.

Absolutely love this place! I have lived in Rego Park for 15 years, and this is always my place to go! Food is fresh and delicious, and service is exceptional, kudos to Mike. He is always there but not intruding, and gives great recommendations. Pitcher of beer for $15, you can’t beat that up! Definitely try spicy edamame, my favorite!

The dining experience is delightful. You feel very welcome. The service is fast and pleasant. When you walk in, you get to choose where to sit. You can sit in the front at the bar, in the back at the regular dining tables or you can dine in the zashiki style section. In addition to the nice ambiance, the food is amazing and at very affordable price. I recommend their lunch box lunch special. Great spot for date night !!

Hidden gem on Queens Blvd. Fast service, nice works and the food is FANTASTIC. Don't sleep on their special rolls, they're honestly very unique and delicious. Don't sleep on the Ester roll, it filled me up completely and it was so good I was shook. I know I'm gonna crave it now. And the prices weren't bad either, typical for today and what I got. Seriously worth it, give this spot a try!
